According to the Notice on Key Projects of "Science and Technology Boost Economy 2020"by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Notice on Hunan’s Key Projects of "Science and Technology Boost Economy 2020" by Hunan Provincial Science & Technology Department, the national key R&D project "R&D and Industrialization of Key Technologies for Grinding Waste Water Treatment in New Display Device Industry Chain" was successfully established with a total project cost of 2.5 million yuan, which was jointly applied by HIE Professor YangHai, Hunan Jingyi Xiangtai Environmental Protection High-tech Development limited company and HIE.

Focusing on key technologies and industrialization of grinding waste water treatment in the new display device industry chain, the project mainly carries out research and development of grinding coolant waste water and reverse osmosis concentrated water treatment process, optimization of grinding waste water treatment process, resource utilization of grinding waste water sludge, etc. Two demonstration projects of grinding waste water treatment were established in Lansi Technology Limited Company, and this technology was extended to the grinding waste water treatment of enterprises related to the new display device industry chain.

The establishment of this project is the result of HIE's vigorous cooperation of production, education and the service for local economic and social development. School-enterprise cooperation will take the opportunity of "Three-year Action Plan for the Development of New Display Device Industry Chain in Hunan Province (2020-2022)" to further promote the rapid development of the new generation of information technology leading industries. The successful implementation of this project will break through the key technology of grinding waste water treatment in the new display device industry chain with Lansi Technology as the leader, improve the pollution prevention and control ability of the industry chain, help enterprises solve the problem of sewage discharge, help enterprises in the industry chain to return to work and resume production quickly during the anti-epidemic period, and produce remarkable social and economic benefits.
