The "National University Competition Performance Evaluation Results" is released annually by the China Higher Education Association, based on the relevant data in three aspects: awards winning, competition hosting and research results. This is the first list which focuses on the cultivation of innovative talents in universities and subject competitions in our country. The ranking of results is an important reference for measuring the quality of talent training in colleges and universities, and has received widespread attention from all walks of life.
The school attaches great importance to the quality of training innovative, all-rounded and practical talents. By optimizing the discipline competition system and mechanism, strengthening competition guidance and training, promoting competition teams and the achievement of works, it has embarked on a distinctive path of cultivating outstanding engineering talents. In 2023, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship carefully organized various colleges to work together, and achieved fruitful results in college student subject competitions and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Our school won 1 special prize and 1 first prize in the National Robot College Student Science and Technology Innovation Competition co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. We won 3 first prizes in the National College Student Electronic Design Competition, with the total number of winners ranked 3rd among universities in the province. We won the national first prize in the 17th National Finals of the National College Student Chemical Engineering Design Competition, which was the fourth time we have won the honor consecutively.
The school continues to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and president Xi Jinping’s important guidelines on education. We keeps in mind its original mission of educating people for the Party and the country, insists on promoting the integration of education, science and technology, and talents, and creating positive vibe of expertise, innovation, and talent. The positive vibe will cultivate more outstanding engineering talents with a strong sense of mission and outstanding innovative practical capabilities.
