A Job-Hunting Journey to Enterprises in Zhejiang Province

    From March 27 to 29, the faculty of the Admissions, Employment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Guidance Office, the Youth League Committee and the College of Applied Technology led 22 students of 2023 graduation to Zhejiang for job hunting. They visited enterprises in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, and helped students to apply for jobs and seize potential opportunities for cooperation.

    In Yu village, Tianhuangping Town, they watched a special documentary film about President Xi, Crystal-Clear Water and Green Mountain are Legacy For Generations to Come, and deeply resonated with the significance of environment protection in Anji. A few days ago, Yu Village initiated the "Global Partner" project, creating a new rural economy featuring digital empowerment and picturesque scenery. Chen Zhibin, director of the Admissions, Employment and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Guidance Division, said that college graduates were encouraged to take root in rural areas and actively build them to promote rural revitalization.

    In Yongyi Furniture Co., Ltd., the leaders of the company led the faculty and students to visit the production workshop. The company is one of the largest providers of sitting health systems in China at present. Our faculty and students learned about its main departments, operating performance and development prospects of the SAP system in detail. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further school-enterprise cooperation in scientific research projects, graduates employment and talent team building, reaching a preliminary cooperation agreement.

Visit to Yongyi Furniture Co., Ltd.

    Zhejiang Anji Zhidian Holding Co., Ltd., one of the top 500 new energy enterprises in the world, is one of the largest and fastest-growing electric vehicle charging service providers in China. We went to the production line to visit and had exchanges and discussions with their personnel. At the meeting, the company broadcast the promotional film of the company and briefly explained their needs for talents and technology. Chen Zhibin expressed the hope to carry out all-round and in-depth cooperation with the company in personnel training, graduates employment and student internship base construction, establishing a mutually beneficial and win-win school-enterprise cooperation mechanism.

Visit Zhejiang Anji Zhidian Holding Co., Ltd.

    Zhejiang Jiemei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise focusing on R&D and production of packaging materials for electronic components and IC semiconductor devices, is the only integrated supplier in the industry that can provide customers with overall solutions for thin carrier tapes. The company hoped that our school can provide more high-quality talent resources for them and recommend more outstanding graduates to work in the company. Liu Xiu, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school, said that the Youth League Committee of the school has been committed to helping the members to find jobs. Liu Xiu hopes that the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in personnel training, practical training and scientific research cooperation, to share and pool the resources of our school and the enterprise. Our 22 graduates submitted their resumes and were interviewed by the company's recruiters.

    In Zhejiang Fenghong New Materials Co., Ltd., we visited the production base, focusing on the development plan of the company, the current major projects and their major achievements. Li Ya, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Applied Technology, said that schools and enterprises are expected to have more frequent exchanges and communications and strengthen cooperation. She especially emphasized that enterprises’ needs in personnel training and scientific research cooperation are essential to school-enterprise cooperation and benefit our students, our school and enterprises.

Visit Zhejiang Fenghong New Materials Co., Ltd.

    This visit to enterprises further strengthened the ties between enterprises and schools. With the implementation plan of the school's "Special Action to Promote Employment", We have conducted in-depth exchanges with employers in personnel training, scientific research, integration of production and education and precise employment. It not only informs our graduates of more job opportunities but also injects new vitality into the development of our school, providing a favourable environment for vigorously promoting school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education, laying a solid foundation for promoting quality employment of graduates.
