In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Plenary Sessions of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, as well as to effectively strengthen the party’s theoretical literacy and ability of leading cadres, and to cultivate loyal, clean and responsible personnel, on the morning of February 27, our school’s cadre training and education of 2021 was held in a lecture hall, chaired by Party Secretary Chen Yuetang, all school leaders, middle-level and above cadres, section-level cadres, and post leaders participated.

Liu Guohua took "From the History of the Communist Party of China, Seeing the Mission of the Communists" as the title, from "the glorious course of foundation", "the great achievements of socialist modernization", "taking the road to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation", and "learning the history of the party" these four aspects expounded the importance and necessity of studying party history in depth. Liu Guohua used rich historical materials and wonderful pictures to lead all the students to review the glorious history of the party. He pointed out that the history of the Communist Party of China is a history of brave and unyielding resistance, of giving up righteousness and pursuing truth, of selflessness, dedication and service to the people, and of striving forward with courage.

How to learn from the history of the party and become a loyal, clean and qualified cadre? Liu Guohua put forward five specific requirements. The first is to improve his political position and constantly pursue the truth; the second is to stick to the original aspiration and to strengthen his ideals and convictions; the third is to discern the overall situation and to strengthen the confidence in winning; the fourth is to be willing to work hard and contribute, and dare to act; the fifth is to insist on establishing the party for the public and keeping the bottom line of discipline. "National rejuvenation is our responsibility! All party members and cadres must learn from the history of the party, take the ancestors and martyrs as the mirror, keep the original aspirations, shoulder the mission, build the power of faith, and work hard for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!" Liu Guohua said.

After the report, Chen Yuetang made a concluding speech. He said that Professor Liu Guohua's report has strong theoretical and learning guidance, and it has provided us with precise guidance and assistance in carrying out party history learning and education. We must learn history to gain good sense, confidence, morality and executive force. We must ensure that the school achieves solid results in the next step of party history learning and education to finish the school’s various tasks in a healthy, sustained and rapid way.

The training lasted for one and a half days. In terms of curriculum arrangement, the school combines this year’s party history study and education topics and school reality, focusing on the study and education of party history, comprehensive reform and governance of colleges and universities, discipline and clean government education, discipline construction and connotation development, cadres’ role as cadres, and party’s political construction. A batch of high-quality courses with distinctive features and strong practicability are tailor-made for all cadres. Through education and training, all cadres are "charged and empowered" and their political literacy and performance have been effectively improved.
